NewsArab flexibles group plans to buy European Amcor/Alcan units A Dubai-based flexible packaging group is planning to buy parts of the Amcor/Alcan business in Europe. Arabian Flexible Packaging (AFP) exports on avarage a fifth of its production to Europe and expects that having a base in Europe would bring it closer to many major clients. The deal must be approved by the European Commission and experts have suggested that competition authorities in Brussels could establish its own conditions on the acquisition. |
